I was 18 when I began my adventure in gastronomy as a kitchen helper at the Hotel du Ron in Switzerland. Chef Giles Dupont of Lyon D’Or’s in Geneve was my mentor throughout my career. He taught me how to learn and develop new methods of work, learn new flavors and to work on a product as if it were always the first time.

I returned to Portugal in 2003 as the Catering Chef at the Silva Carvalho Group. Between 2007 and 2013 I led the new projects at the Tágide Restaurant. In 2014 I started this new personal and professional challenge - Incomum By Luís Santos - in the wonderful village of Sintra.

From a dream to the idea and the idea to its realization, this gastronomic space offers you a menu plenty of creative suggestions from a full sampler to the delicious dishes a la carte.

You will enjoy your meal in an elegant and contemporary space, all in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere serviced by a staff expert in the art of good service and hospitality.
